Who Is George Lakhovsky?

George Lakhovsky was born in Minsk, Russia, in 1869. After graduating from university as an engineer in 1894, he moved to Paris, France, where he met his wife, had three children, and developed his theories on the electromagnetic properties of cells. After much deliberation and dedication, Lakhovsky devised his theory that “the cell, as a unit of life, is an electromagnetic resonator, capable of emitting and absorbing radiation of very high frequency; and that life is the harmony of multiple radiations of all the cells in the body reacting upon one another, and that disease is a disequilibrium introduced from outside into the cell-harmony.”

This translates to his famous three-fold principle:

Life is created by radiation.
Life is maintained by radiation.
Life is destroyed by oscillatory disequilibrium.

To clarify, there are two different categories of radiation, artificial (from electronics and appliances) and natural background (from the sun, earth, and our own cells). The type of radiation all life needs comes from natural sources, not human-made. Since the beginning of time, all life has and continues to be exposed to natural background radiation; it is all around us, and in us.

Georges Lakhovsky's Theory

Georges Lakhovsky was an independent research scientist. This independence gave him the freedom to experiment with new and fresh ideas without being held to the dogma of the day. In the book “The secret of Life” he chronicles the portion of his work done in the early 1920’s. The book was published in French in 1925. The driving force behind his research was his overwhelming desire to find the cause of Cancer. Therefore, his theories and experiments revolved around that solution. A major portion of this website has been dedicated to the presentation and perpetuation of his work.
Lakhovsky was knowledgeable in both engineering and biology. It was the meshing of these two sciences that helped him prove his theories. It had already been established by the 1920’s that invisible radiations were constantly bombarding the earth. Lakhovsky believed that these ultra short waves (sometimes called penetrating waves, at the time) were what gave us life.
Lakhovsky believed that each of our cells was a minute resonate circuit and when these circuits were oscillating correctly we or any living thing were healthy. When an outside source caused our cells to oscillate at a different rate then disease set in. In his book “The Secret of Life” Lakhovsky wrote, “What is life? It is the dynamic equilibrium of all cells, the harmony of multiple radiations which react upon one another. What is disease? It is the oscillatory disequilibrium of cells, originating from eternal causes. It is, more especially, the struggle between microbic radiation and cellular radiation.” He believed it was these radiations that kept our bodies oscillating correctly but too much or a distorted radiation would cause them to oscillate incorrectly.
Setting out to prove his theories, Lakhovsky felt that they could generate a practical application to enable the adversely effected cells to regain their full vitality by reinstating their proper oscillatory rate. Thus he invented the Multiple Wave Oscillator (originally called Radio-cellulo-oscillator). He felt that by giving the cells a large range of oscillating waves that the cells would find their proper frequency and therefore become strong enough to fight off the improper oscillations of microbes or be strong enough to fight back from such damage as that caused by smoking.
The universal nature of Lakhovsky's theories is extremely compelling. So, weather you believe in Royal Rife’s microbe theory, (He claimed he “saw” the microbes that caused cancer with his Light Microscope) or in the “accepted” cause of cancer as being simply a weakened or suppressed immune system due to outside forces, Lakhovsky’s theories are applicable.
To learn about Lakhovsky’s many experiments you should read his book “The Secret of Life” which shows his many papers written and presented. Also included are the many scientist of his day that he worked with including the well known Professor D’Arsonval who wrote the preface to Lakhovsky’s book

What is a MultiWave Oscillator (mwo)? who first designed the Multiwave Oscillator ? and What can a multiwave oscillator do for me?

There are many net "experts" on the "Multiwave Oscillator", extolling the virtues of "theirs" and criticising the "others"... We have tried most of these systems in our free Clinic... the results were, that we had to make our own Multiwave Oscillator.

It is an interesting fact that science has reached the point where it recognizes that the cell ....both plant and animal—is an electric battery.

As cells, with their varying rates of vibration, make up the human body ...it necessarily follows that the human mechanism— is a collection of living batteries. The organs of the human body each have their own rate of vibration. In the healthful body these different rates of vibration are properly synchronized or balanced. The human body is a perfect battery, susceptible to the cosmic or magnetic currents that are everywhere present in the universe.

The 70 trillion cells in your body are like little wet cell batteries that operate ideally at a voltage of around 70 millivolts. The cell membrane acts like a one-way rectifier that converts the earth's magnetic pulse into electrical potential energy, which "charge's your cells".
This energy drives cell metabolism and helps to enhance oxygenation, ATP production and overall absorption of nutrition and essential elements into the cell and removal of wastes out of the cell.

Without this energy, the cell voltage weakens and disease and illness sets in.

Each organ of the body has its own rate of vibration. The first, third and fifth notes on the musical octave ...vibrate in harmony. The first, second and third ...do not vibrate in harmony. If the string of the fifth note on the scale is out of tune, there will be inharmony ...every time this note is struck. Just so ...there is health inharmony —when any one of the organs is out of tune. As the fifth string on the piano, when out of tune must be brought up to pitch, reinstated in its proper vibration, just so ...must the physical organ —out of tune— be reinstated, brought up to the proper vibration. The vital current that carries the life principle must be restored, built up, and a proper equilibrium (vibration) ...must be reestablished.

"They have developed a tool that allows you to look at cellular changes on a very local level," said Piotr Grodzinski, director of the National Cancer Institute Alliance for Nanotechnology in Cancer in Technology Review. Grodzinski believes many developments in cancer research, for example, over the past few years have been "reactive" rather than proactive. Despite how far cancer treatments have come, the way that cancer, and other diseases, progresses at the cellular level in the first place is still not well understood. With a better understanding, researchers could improve diagnostics and care. "This development represents an attempt to start using nanoscale tools to understand how disease develops," said Grodzinski.

Human Voltage
Negativity is the natural resting state of your cells. It's related to a slight imbalance between potassium and sodium ions inside and outside the cell, and this imbalance sets the stage for your electrical capacity.

Your cell membranes practice a trick often referred to as the sodium-potassium gate. It's a very complex mechanism, but the simple explanation of these gates, and how they generate electrical charges, goes like this:

At rest, your cells have more potassium ions inside than sodium ions, and there are more sodium ions outside the cell. Potassium ions are negative, so the inside of a cell has a slightly negative charge. Sodium ions are positive, so the area immediately outside the cell membrane is positive. There isn't a strong enough charge difference to generate electricity, though, in this resting state.

When the body needs to send a message from one point to another, it opens the gate. When the membrane gate opens, sodium and potassium ions move freely into and out of the cell. Negatively charged potassium ions leave the cell, attracted to the positivity outside the membrane, and positively charged sodium ions enter it, moving toward the negative charge. The result is a switch in the concentrations of the two types of ions -- and rapid switch in charge. It's kind of like switching between a 1 and 0 -- this flip between positive and negative generates an electrical impulse. This impulse triggers the gate on the next cell to open, creating another charge, and so on. In this way, an electrical impulse moves from a nerve in your stubbed toe to the part of your brain that senses pain.

Since everything relies on these electrical signals, any breakdown
in your body's electrical system is a real problem.

Looking outside the Square

Most illness is an autoimmune illness. When your immune system cannot ward off a problem in your system in time, something fails. Your only defense is your immune system. By raising the oscillating frequency of every atom in your body, we are increasing the rate at which the immune system operates as well as eliminating the negative toxins your body is trying to fight off. The quantum fluctuations (vibrations) that make up the memory of the cells of our body start creating different "memories". This type of frequency reprogramming allows the body to remember the natural effectiveness of the immune system and regenerate back 100% to its original state.

THE MULTI-WAVE OSCILLATOR

Here is the story of the Multi-Wave Oscillator. It is part Tesla coil, part Earth generator, pure genius. Lakhovsky's device was used in this country until 1942 and in Europe for about another 15 years. It was ordered removed from the US hospitals that were using it shortly after Lakhovsky died in 1942. He was hit by a car. Coincidence?

Using newly developed voltage-sensitive nanoparticles, researchers have found that the previously unknown electric fields inside of cells are as strong, or stronger, as those produced in lightning bolts. stated that cells from living organism behave themselves as small radio transmitters and receivers. When cells are irradiated with a correct polarized electromagnetic field(which has a broad range of frequencies) , each cell will pick up on a frequency and assimilate the energy out of that field. This has a tremendous stimulating and harmonizing action on the cells and thus interacts with surrounding tissues and organs.

He viewed disease or illness as a battle of vibrations between the cells of the body versus viruses and bacteria. If the pathogenic organisms won this vibrational contest, the cells would become energetically weakened and more susceptible to disease. According to Lakhovsky, the way to counter this vibrational attack was to introduce a broad spectrum of RF (radio frequency) harmonic energies into the system and then, through the principle of sympathetic resonance,

each cell would pick out exactly the proper frequency needed to reinforce its own internal vibration and the healthy cell would be more resistant to vibrational attack from virus and bacteria. His method of achieving this was by means of his invention that is known today as the Multiwave Oscillator

Science Proves Lakhovsky's theories?

The existence of strong electric fields across cellular membranes is accepted as a basic fact of cell biology. The fact that cells have internal electric fields as well, however, is a whole new revelation. Scientists previously did not know of the existence of internal cellular energy fields, and are just in the earliest stages of understand the phenomenon. Kopelman presented his results at the annual meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology this month. "There has been no skepticism as to the measurements," says Kopelman. "But we don't have an interpretation."

Daniel Chu of the University of Washington in Seattle agrees that Kopelman's work provides proof of concept that cells have internal electric fields. "It's bound to be important, but nobody has looked at it yet," Chu says.

What Lakhovsky discovered was simply mind boggling: He postulated that all living cells (plants, people, bacteria, parasites, etc.) possess attributes which normally are associated with electronic circuits. These cellular attributes include resistance, capacitance, and inductance. These 3 electrical properties, when properly configured, will cause the recurrent generation or oscillation of high frequency sine waves when sustained by a small, steady supply of outside energy of the right frequency. This effect is known as resonance. It's easiest to compare it with a child swinging on a playground swing.

As long as the parent pushes the swing a little at the right moment (the correct 'frequency'), the child will continue to swing high and continuously. In electronics, circuits which generate these recurrent sine waves can be called electromagnetic resonators, but more commonly they are referred to as oscillators. Lakhovsky tells us that not only do all living cells produce and radiate oscillations of very high frequencies, but they also receive and respond to oscillations imposed upon them from outside sources. This outside source of radiation or oscillations are due to cosmic rays which bombard the earth continuously. This stupendous realization, achieved during the golden years of radio, not only led to a new method of healing by the application of high frequency waves, but broadened appreciation for the newly emerging field of hidden science known as Radionics or Radiathesia.

Tesla’s suggestions were taken up in earnest by George Lakhovsky, who perceived that the twisted-filament, coil-like structures within all living cells constitute ultramicroscopic circuits "capable of oscillating electrically over a wide scale of very short wavelengths."

"Treatment with the multiple-wave oscillator mobilizes the body’s own self-healing reserves. Thus the range of diseases that can be treated is infinite. Degenerative conditions develop when the body’s self-healing reserves lose their power. The Multiwave Oscillator has been used successfully to treat arthritis. Can any such a cure-all really exist? Scientist explains it this way. A NORMAL cell has an electrical potential of 70 millivolts, an AGED cell at 50 mV, and a CANCER or ill cell is 15-20 mV.

When a cell is in electrical difficulty the mV and the sodium-potassium balance are out.

The high potential brings the cells to an equal level basically resetting them. This allows healing to occur at a higher pace without stressing the cell. And the additional energy restores cell integrity by reorienting it's molecular structure to allow for easier potential movement. Basically it bolsters the field of each cell individually so they support each other more easily...

Do you sometimes feel your batteries are flat

Lakhovsky believed that living cells are batteries; the nucleus holds the positive charge and the cytoplasm carries the negative. If cells were irradiated with a range of electromagnetic oscillations, they could be "recharged" and thus rejuvenated. A range of frequencies is necessary because the cell and its parts respond to different frequencies.
Mainstream research supports the idea that "We are electrical creatures using a biochemical body to exist in an electro-chemical environment," as Van Tassel wrote. The name "Integratron" actually applies to a machine, a high-voltage electrostatic generator, that would supply the range of frequencies to recharge cell structure. Added to this are certain magnetic field principles and Nikola Tesla's technique of creating high ionization static fields.

When these outside sources of oscillations are in sympathy, that is they are exactly the same frequency as that produced by the cell, the strength and vigor of that cell will be reinforced and become stronger. If, on the other hand, these outside frequencies are of a slightly different frequency, rather than reinforce the cell's native
oscillations, they might dampen or weaken them, resulting in a loss of vigor and vitality for that cell. The cells of disease causing organisms within an infected person, produce different frequencies than that of normal, healthy cells. For people or plants suffering from disease conditions, Lakhovsky found that if he could increase the amplitude (but not the frequency) of the oscillations of healthy cells, this increase would overwhelm and dampen the oscillations produced by the disease causing cells, thus bringing about the demise of the disease causing cells trying to set up shop in the body.

If he pumped up the amplitude of the disease causing cells, their oscillations would gain the upper hand and cause the person or plant to become weaker and more ill. Lakhovsky viewed the progression of disease as essentially a battle between the resonant oscillations of host cells versus the oscillations emanating from pathogenic organisms.

Bioelectromagnetic Healing, its History and a Rationale for its Use

Bioelectromagnetics (BEMs) is the study of the effect of electromagnetic fields on biological systems.1 Though electromagnetic fields have sometimes been associated with potential for harm to the body, there are many BEM instruments and devices re-emerging in the 21st century, based on high voltage Tesla coils, that apparently bring beneficial health improvements to human organisms. The Tesla coil class of therapy devices constitute pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) that deliver broadband, wide spectrum, nonthermal photons and electrons deep into biological tissue.
