BREATHARIANISM, INEDIA, NON-EATING (breatharian, inediate, non-eater)

This is a state of man (breatharian, inediate, non-eater) characterized (among other things) by the absence of eating, resulting from (or rather being a stage on the way to) expanding of the Consciousness sphere in which a person lives. In general an ideal (fully realized) inediate, breatharian, non-eater has no need to eat or drink to keep the body working perfectly. A breatharian consumes no food and no drink, he/she needs only air to nourish the body.

Many non-eaters (even if he/she call him/herself a breatharian) drink (some) water, tea, coffee or other beverages from time to time. Some of them, in order to satisfy the sense of taste, eat a piece of chocolate, a cookie, some cheese, horseradish or something else once in a while. The non-eating state of an inediate, breatharian, non-eater doesn't require any ascetic practices of the body. This is more about the freedom of choice and a lot of benefits.

Love all these posts Mudra, although I'm still not too sure about Jasmuheen. Did you watch that video in which the 60 minutes guy interviewed her and challenged her to stay in a hotel room without food for a few days and they had to stop the experiment because she became too dehydrated? And she's sooooo into making money out of it all. Everything she seems to put out is an advertisement to buy her books etc. But still, some very interesting info, especially with the other breatharians being included as well.

I just wanted to mention also that I found this quote from the article you placed on the Elemental thread to be really interesting as well. Any idea on what they would mean by single cell DNA?

"If the nature of mind is Devic, and we go from animal devic prana (“normal chi”??) to plant devic prana to single cell DNA prana, the breatharian function might normally emerge."

    I love you

Thank you for your comments Sanicle.
I don't know Jasmuheen so well although I agree it is a pity some of these people that have something meaningfull to share with humanity are still much trapped in the money system. The reason I posted this last video of hers ( which I was'nt able to finish yet as I have been having a lot of work lately ) is because she was coming with a solution for the areas of our world that are suffering starvation .
Regarding the experiment conducted by 60 minutes with Jasmuheen in the hotel the comment I would make is that I heard from someone else that is a breatharian that this for some it is'nt easy to conduct in polluted areas and that it's much better for the people that are living from prana to live in green areas with plenty of clean air .That is making sense to me .
In this particular case I imagine the experiment took place in a city and this may have played it's part in the dehydration Jasmuheen underwent.

"If the nature of mind is Devic, and we go from animal devic prana (“normal chi”??) to plant devic prana to single cell DNA prana, the breatharian function might normally emerge."

I understand this in the following light : animal DNA is multicellular , Plant DNA is multicellular , single cell DNA is monocellular.
My personal view is that Prana pervades the entire manifested universe and is the same for all . I call this life force the Love flow . There is a saying that says " One can't live from Love and fresh water " . I think this is far from the truth . Have you ever noticed when we are in Love how easy it is to forget to eat ?

    Love for You

In 1923 Therese Neumann, a nun in Southern Germany, stopped eating and drinking. Apart from the water given at Mass, she did not eat again, despite living for a further 35 years. Other similar cases have been reported over the years - often holy men from the East - and have taken on something of a mythical status. However, they remain obscure enough to be brushed aside by modern scientists. Michael Werner presents a new type of challenge to sceptics. A fit family man in his 50s, he has a doctorate in Chemistry and is the managing director of a research institute in Switzerland in this remarkable account he describes how he stopped eating in 2001 and has survived perfectly well without food ever since. In fact, he claims never to have felt better! Unlike the people who have achieved this feat in the past, he is an ordinary man who lives a full and active life.

    Biological Transmutation
    (Scientific Evidence Supporting Breatharianism)
Planting evidence - by Richard Milton

For eight years, from 1875 to 1883, a German biologist named von Herzeele conducted several hundred experiments in his Berlin laboratory which so outraged the scientific community that his books were removed from libraries and his writings banned. The subject that so outraged his colleagues is today a taboo question that can scarcely be mentioned in polite scientific circles. It is the apparently innocent question: where do the minerals in plants come from?

Von Herzeele grew plants without soil, using solutions whose mineral content he measured and controlled. Like scientists before him in England, France and Germany he found that there were elements in the ashes of the plants he grew that could not have got in from the growth medium. He concluded that 'plants are capable of effecting the transmutation of elements.'

Professional oblivion inevitably followed and it was not until the 1940s that open-minded biologists rediscovered von Herzeele's work and tried to replicate it. M. Baranger at the Ecole Polytechnic, Paris, decided to repeat von Herzeele's experiments but with tighter controls and greater precautions against error. He also performed a much larger number of experiments. His study lasted four years and involved thousands of analyses. Baranger measured the phosphor, potassium and calcium content of vetch seeds before and after germination in twice-distilled water. In some cases pure calcium chloride was added.

Baranger found that, in the case of seeds germinated using added calcium chloride, they experienced a 10 per cent increase in their potassium content and a significant decrease in their phosphor content. He concluded, 'These results, obtained by taking all possible precautions, confirm the general conclusions proposed by V. Herzeele and lead one to think that under certain conditions the plants are capable of forming elements which did not exist before in the external environment.'

Subsequent experiments at some of the world's leading institutions have confirmed these general findings. In 1946, the director of the Dinard Maritime Laboratory, Henri Spindler, investigated seaweed and found that the algae Laminaria manufactured iodine out of water which did not contain this element. In 1959, Dr Julien at the University of Besancon found that if he placed tenches into water containing 14 per cent sodium chloride, their production of potassium chloride increased by 36 per cent within four hours. And in 1965, H. Komaki, professor of applied microbiology at Mukogawa University, Japan, reported the formation of phosphorous in a wide range of microorganisms grown in a medium deficient in Phosphorous.

Komaki suggested that nuclear reactions were taking place in the cells of the microorganisms. The best-known modern researcher of biological transmutation is Louis Kervran at the University of Paris. Kervran has been nominated for a Nobel Prize for his work in this field. He has elucidated many of the nuclear reactions involved and sought to explain them. 'The vital phenomenon is not of a chemical order,' he says. 'The nucleus of the atom in light elements is quite different from what nuclear physics regards as the average type, the latter having value only for heavy elements. . . Nature moves particles from one nucleus to another -- particles such as hydrogen and oxygen nuclei and, in some cases, the nuclei of carbon and lithium.'

'Biological transmutation,' says Kervran, 'is a phenomenon completely different from the atomic fission or fusion of physics.'

Stimulated by Kervran's results, other laboratories have conducted experiments, many obtaining similar results. In 1971 The labs of the French Society of Agriculture tried germinating rye seeds. They found that the initial input of 13.3 milligrams of magnesium dropped as low as 3.2 milligrams (a fall of 335 per cent) while the initial input of 7.3 milligrams of potassium rose to 16.6 milligrams (an increase of 133 per cent).

It is fair to add that scientists at other institutions have attempted to replicate these results and have found no evidence of transmutation (for instance professor Jungermann at University of California in 1977 and Carolyn Damon of the US Customs in 1978).

In 1978 Solomon Goldfein of the US Army's Material Laboratory at Fort Belvoir suggested a possible mechanism for biological transmutations. He suggests that such transmutations would most likely involve an organic molecule with a central metal atom: Magnesium Adenosine Triphosphate (or Mg-ATP).

Goldfein says that a stack of these molecule could form a helical chain. The Mg-ATP could also produce oscillating electric currents which act as a microminiature cyclotron, accelerating hydrogen ions to speeds near that of light and giving them enough potential to transmute an element to the next higher number in the table of elements.

Most remarkable of all, of course, is the thought that, if nuclear fusion is taking place in plants, microbes and fish, then it is certainly also taking place in our own bodies.

I found this wise post from Virochana Khalsa on a Breatharian page on facebook and share it here:

If a practioner first experiences extremely beautiful states of prolonged clarity independent of too much concern about diet...

A completely different presentation would occur, than if first experiencing this clarity through not eating and over linking the two, such as emphasizing that not eating unveils clarity.

Real depth of clarity, once experienced, always has a silent seat within our embodiment, regardless if we live in a dense city or a forest hideaway, have many responsibilities and work long days or none at all, and if we eat or not.

Without this depth, what does it matter? What eternal knowingness and definition have we awakened? And if we cannot adapt to any environment we are called to participate in for a period of time, then all we are is a shadow lost in a dream.

There are so many facets in our maturing as embodied soul and spirit radiance. I feel that context needs to be remembered, otherwise breatharianism becomes an anchor into an ideal that exists only in our minds and temporary experience.

If this level of understanding was transmitted in the various teachings, then a better perspective is given and choice freely accepted. Breatharianism would no longer be a goal of itself.

A teacher should not be trying to make people breatharian, in fact, the opposite; so that enough familiarity is gained with the terrain that each walks in with eyes open and the joy of life.

Everyone wants to run before they can walk, it is natural; yet we all first crawl, then hobble, walk, and run. Breathe, develop a daily practice, go deep, experience the breathless suspension, become an active light, love, learn how to remain positive amongst everything... This is how we first walk into the realm of spirit as form.

    Breatharians 21034643_10208259615402578_8252865386291755840_n

Breatharianism, as a consciousness, occurs on the border of non-local (expanded) awareness and your spatial energetic bodily image.

We have to experience both of these for ourselves, before it makes any sense what 'border' is referring to. You are the energy, the 'idea', the star, the stillness which is eternally complete, and the breath which is the movement.

There are many disciplined practices which when combined with an appropriate lifestyle opens spaces within us, and weaves all the little moments together into a forward opening continuum. But you have to do them to get the voltage and stillness on a consistent basis. Then, explorations like breathariansim become a possibility.

Like swimming in the ocean, energy flowing from the navel through the body, each stroke a rythym, and simultaneously the consciousness immersed in a golden atmosphere everywhere smiling into the needs of each atom and cell, as we keep swimming in eloquent focus.

So fasting, breathing, visualizing, etc., is all part of the journey and doing these things might greatly increase our metabolic efficiency by clearing away dead weight and bring in nourishing energy; however on its own it will not bring forth a body formed beyond physical food.

This is a really, really deep subject. Without a grounded and basically happy etheral body image with substance; it does not work. At the same time, without letting it all go and resting in a larger consciousness, also it does not work, i.e., the effortless aspect.

This bigger picture stuff is not just about ourselves. Immeadiatly we have family, loved ones, and our working and living environment. Then on top of that we expand into a vast interplay of awareness and imprints. All of this co-shapes our energy body creating obstacles, blessings, and realities. I becomes We and I again, never lost, never found.

Everything is aligned and engaged, to bring it forth, and this is both a mastery and a grace.

Ripening, inner definition, passion, soul wisdom, and ultimately Love makes it possible. On the way we discover this is much, much, more than if we eat or not; rather a love of clarity, of greater simplicity, and what aligns each moment within the deeper perspectives and what best supports our journey.

Welcome to the deep end - may sweetness nourish our hearts in a magical way to close the eyes to see how bright and with open eyes to spread the light.
